Giants of Africa
June 30
Towering above us at 20 feet tall, the giraffe is earth's tallest land mammal. Weighing up to 900 pounds, the spectacular eastern bongo is Africa's largest and most impressive antelope species. The longest black rhino horn ever measured was 4.9 feet long! Spend the evening learning about these superlative species. In the morning, enjoy a behind-the-scenes peek at our savanna exhibit, followed by an exclusive opportunity to feed one of our African giants! 

Twilight with the Tigers

Ever wanted to feed a tiger? Now you can, on a unforgettable nocturnal adventure! Spend the evening learning all about one of the world's most successful nighttime predators - the elusive tiger. Enjoy themed activities, crafts and exclusive tours of the zoo. Wake to a light breakfast, a keeper talk with one of our carnivore care staff and the chance to feed a tiger! Please note that tigers are carnivores and you will feed through a barrier with "meat sticks".

    Time: 6:00 p.m. through 10:30 a.m. the next morning
  • Program participants must be at least six years of age; children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Additional age/activity restrictions may apply to NightCrawler programs, as determined by specific animal keepers.
  • All sleeping facilities are climate-controlled
  • Reservations are required prior to the program start date. Full payment is due upon reservation.
  • Family Programs are subject to cancellation if less than 12 participants are registered.
